Grand Challenges for Disaster Reduction

The Subcommittee on Disaster Reduction (SDR) is a federal interagency body that provides a forum for collaboration, information sharing, and science- and technology-based guidance for policy makers. This session provides an update on the work of the SDR and the progress made around the Grand Challenges for Disaster Reduction—a 10-year strategy to prioritize federal science and technology investments that reduce disaster risks and promote resilient communities.
